Traffic Diversions In Noida Due To VIP Visit Today:
The Gautam Buddh Nagar police warned commuters on Monday about brief traffic disruptions in anticipation of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel's planned visit here on Tuesday afternoon, news agency PTI reported citing officials.
According to the report, Patel plans to visit the Saras Ajeevika Mela here in the afternoon.
According to the police advisory, traffic will be diverted along the Chilla border, the DND Loop, the Film City flyover, Sectors 18, 27, the Elevated Road, the NTPC underpass, and the Sector 31-25 intersection.
Diversions may also have an impact on traffic at the Gijhor intersection, routes around Sector 60, Model Town, and Shilp Haat in Sector 33, according to the PTI report.
"The traffic going from the Chilla border to Greater Noida will be able to reach the destination via the DSC route from Sector 14 A flyover to the Sector 15 roundabout. Vehicles going from DND border to Greater Noida will be able to reach their destination via Sector 18 from the Rajnigandha Chowk," the police, as reported by PTI.

Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose To Visit Chopra On Tuesday:
West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose will visit Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur district on February 20 to speak with the families of the four children who died allegedly after a mound of soil caved in during drainage expansion near the India-Bangladesh border, an official said on Monday.
Bose will leave for Kishanganj on Monday night and arrive in Chopra on Tuesday, he said.
"The Governor is scheduled to visit Chopra on Tuesday. "He will speak with the families of the four children who died in the incident," the official told PTI.
On February 12, four children, aged five to twelve, were buried alive when a mound of soil caved in and fell on them while an excavator was digging a trench in Chetanagach village, Chopra block. The Border Security Force (BSF) carried out the construction work.
Delhi Records Maximum Temperature Of 28.1 Deg C Today
It was a pleasant Tuesday for Delhiites with the maximum temperature settling at 28.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, according to the India Meteorological Department.
The relative humidity at 8.30 am stood at 96 per cent and dropped to 55 per cent at 5.30 pm, according to the IMD bulletin.
No rainfall was recorded during the day, while the minimum temperature settled at 14.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal.
The weather office had forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of very light rain or drizzle at night and gusty winds on Wednesday.
The weather office has forecast that the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 26 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Delhi Police Burns Contraband Worth Rs 1,600 Crore In Anti-Drug Drive
The Delhi Police on Tuesday destroyed contraband worth Rs 1,600 crore in a drive under its 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' in the presence of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, officials said.
"Today in the presence of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, 10631.745 kg of illegal drugs worth about Rs 1,600 crores (sic) in the international market were destroyed as per procedure at the incinerator located at SSI Industrial Area, GT Karnal Road, Near Jahangirpuri, Delhi," Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Bhatia said.
According to a Union finance ministry notification and the order of the Supreme Court, various committees were formed by the Delhi Police to destroy illegal drugs recovered from the drug smugglers.
The destroyed contraband came from seizures in drug cases from 2009 to 2023. (PTI Input)

CBI is conducting raids at the residence and other locations in Delhi of former DPIIT Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade Secretary Ramesh Abhishek. This action is being taken in a case involving assets disproportionate to known sources of income. Lokpal was investigating allegations against Ramesh Abhishek, and based on its orders, CBI has registered a case and is carrying out the operation. (ANI Input)
