The video shared on the Facebook page of the records shows Patel cutting off her long tresses after almost 12 years. Indian Rapunzel aka Nilanshi made her way to the Guinness World Records for hair up to 6 ft 6.7 inches long.

Last year in July, Nilanshi Patel got her hair measured for the last time just before she turned 18. Her hair touched the length of 200 centimeters for which she got awarded the title of longest hair ever on a teenager.
Patel can be seen caressing her long hair before sitting down for a haircut. She also mentioned the last haircut at the age of 6. She held records in the same category earlier in 2018 and 2019. Both the mother-daughter duo can be seen overwhelmed after the haircut.
On the experience of bidding adieu to her hair after so many years, Patel said, “I’m so excited and a little bit nervous because I don’t know how I’m looking in the new hairstyle… so let’s see what happens, but I hope it’s going to be amazing”.
Nilanshi will be sending the hair to Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum and Guinness World Records Museum in Hollywood.
Patel intends to inspire more people and expects to break many more records in the future.
