1. Nohwet:

Nohwet is a village near Mawlynnong, with the living root bridge, Jingmaham is one such specific site. This is a sleepy locale where natural streams and waterfalls make for wonderful relaxation. At the Bamboo Kingdom viewpoint, built by Drongwell, there is a gorgeous view of the valley, and the entire structure is bamboo.

Wari Chora is located in Meghalaya's South Garo Hills which is a peaceful place with immense natural beauty. This region features lush hills, dense forests, and flowing clear water streams, just right for the kind of escape from city life. Visitors can enjoy a supernatural ambience, swimming in the Chora River's clear pools and lazing about all of the waterfalls.

One of the beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya is Phe Phe Falls (or Phea Phea Falls), located near Jowai about twenty kilometers away. This two-tiered waterfall is one of breathtaking beauty and is a very sought-after spot for photography. Visitors can hike right up to it for a better view, though it is preferable to get a guide due to the absence of an established route.

Mawphanlur is a picturesque village in the West Khasi Hills, around ninety miles from Shillong-is adorned with breathtaking lakes and settled on rolling hilltops. With its laid-back atmosphere, Mawphanlur provides a perfect getaway for someone wanting to relax and unwind. The village features seven clean lakes, mirroring the sky and hills, and is a perfect picnic spot.

Nongjrong is a small village in the East Khasi Hills, about 60 km from Shillong. This peaceful place is famous for the breathtaking sunrise views that lure numerous visitors to it. Perched on a hill, Nongjrong offers views of misty valleys and surrounding landscapes from up above. Whether it is stunning photographs of the sunrise or serene tranquillity, Nongjrong is one hidden gem to consider visiting.
