Miss World has returned to India after a hiatus of 28 years. For the 71st pageant, India was represented by Femina Miss India World 2022 winner Sini Shetty, who made it to top eight.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will be returning to the Miss World stage after 2006. This time he will co-host the event with Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines.
