A special memoir 'Global Collectibles Of Mahatma Gandhi Through Bank Notes, Coins, and Stamps' launched on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary. Each coin and stamp issued in India and around the world commemorating Mahatma Gandhi depicts a significant historical journey of him and India.
From the first stamp issued with his figurine on India's first Independence Day in 1948 to the 50th and 75th years of independence. It also commemorates the 75th anniversary of Gandhi's Dandi March and The Nonviolent Revolution.
There are also collections of more than 40 countries banding together to celebrate Gandhi's glorious legacy of 100 and 150 years, among other things.

France and Germany Postal Departments Sri Lanka, Turkey, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Fiji, Ireland Egypt Brazil Kenya and Bangladesh Korea, North Cuba, the Czech Republic, and many other countries had issued stamps in a variety of sizes, shapes, and materials.
All of these stamps feature Mahatma Gandhi's image in the foreground or background and are both circulatory and commemorative.
The mints of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Seychelles, Mauritius, Malta, Mongolia, Andorra, the Republic of Benin, the Cook Islands, Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Gambia, and others have issued coins in gold, silver, copper, nickel, and alloy in various denominations. On one of the sides of the majority of the coins issued, his smiling bust is carved. These coins were circulated, commemorative, and uncirculated.
