When Is Haryali Amavasya 2022?
The exact tithi of Haryali Amavasya will start from 8:20 pm on Wednesday, July 27, and its ending will be observed on Thursday by 10:16 pm. In such a situation, according to the Panchang, the Vrat (fast) of the Haryali Amavasya 2022 should be kept on Thursday, 28th July 2022.
How Should The Puja Be Perform; What Totkas Are To Be Done?
Light a lamp of ghee on the Peepal tree on the day of Hariyali Amavasya. After that worship Lord Shiva and circumambulate the Peepal tree. Planting a Peepal tree on this day is considered auspicious.
It is said that performing a certain ritual can get rid of the pitra dosha, the ritual is to tie a dry coconut, 250 grams of rice, and 11 rupees in a piece of white fabric measuring 25 centimetres on the day of Hariyali Amavasya. Wrapping this bundle 21 times around the head. Then keep this package at a location that is hidden from view. After that assemble white sweets, fruits, and scents in a leaf and present it to the ancestors along with a drink of water.
