Good News For Travel Buffs! Bus Service From Delhi To London To Begin Soon; Know Cost & Route

Delhi to London Bus: With the possibility of improvement in traffic along the India-Myanmar border, starting the bus service for the world's longest route is now being considered.

New Delhi: India is now ready to give a unique travelling experience to the travellers in the country. In fact, with the ease of India-Myanmar relations on the border, this seems to become more and more real.

With this, the project on developing the country's longest bus service is now in the pipeline. It is being said that this journey is going to be about 20 thousand kilometres.

Estimated expenses to be up to Rs 15 lakhs

It will take more than two months to cover a distance of 20,000 km, during which people who are fond of travelling, will be able to enjoy travelling to many countries. According to the information, it will cost up to Rs 15 lakh to enjoy this bus service. At the moment, this amount may seem exorbitant, but this cost of Rs 15 lakh will include bus fare, stay in all the countries, and visa expenses.

Opportunity to travel to 18 countries

Once the bus service is started, passengers will be able to travel to about 18 countries included on the bus route. These include India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom.

Notably, this bus service between Delhi and London is not the first bus service in the country. About 72 years ago, there was a  bus service between Kolkata and London. It took about 45 days to complete a trip on this bus service. The bus service continued even after Independence but was discontinued in 1973.
