Kerala: Palestine Reduced To A Minuscule, Says CPI(M) General Secy Sitaram Yechury

Yechury also condemned the attacks and counter-attacks in the ongoing Israel-Palestine war.

CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Friday said Palestine has been reduced to a minuscule. He was addressing an event organised by CPI(M) on Thursday for extending support to Palestine in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Yechury also condemned the attacks and counter-attacks in the ongoing Israel-Palestine war.

While attending the meeting organized by the CPI(M) in support of Palestine, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury said, "Palestine has been reduced to a minuscule... There are more Palestinians living outside Palestine than there are inside Palestine...Egypt has correctly said that we have no problem providing refuge to Palestinians, but once Israel succeeds in pushing them into the Sinai Peninsula, they will never allow Palestinians to go back.

"The whole of the land will be taken by Israel. That is the conspiracy," he said.

Taking to X, Sitaram Yechury said, "Nailing the Israeli administration lie, fully endorsed by Biden, that a misguided Jihadi missile bombed the hospital murdering thousands including hapless children. Most cruel inhuman crime in recent times."

M V Govindan, State Secretary of the CPI(M), also showed concern for Palestinians.

"Illegal Jewish immigration into Palestinian territory continues. The Palestinians now control only 13% of the territory that was formerly divided 60:40. This is done with the full support of the Israeli government," he stated.

Meanwhile, a group of people from Kerala have been working for Israel before and after the deadly attack on October 7. In Kannur, hundreds of tailors have been working to ready uniform for Israel police force for the past eight year.

The unit not just stitches the shirts but also attaches trademark emblems to its sleeves.
