One person was killed and two others were wounded in the explosion that took place earlier this month.
Hassan stated that the Kerala police's investigation is helping the culprits associated with the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI). Slamming CM Vijayan, he stated: "CM Pinarayi Vijayan is holding the home portfolio to give direction to the police to suppress the investigation and to help the culprits of CPM workers. Meanwhile, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has slammed the DYFI for its suspected role in the Panoor bombing. Addressing the media, CPI(M) State Secretary M.V. Govindan stated that DYFI activists should be questioned about the accused persons, claiming that the party had nothing to do with such actions.
According to police reports, DYFI activists Shijal and Shabin Lala purchased steel containers for the fabrication of explosives, raising worries about the organization's involvement in illegal actions, The Hindu reported.
Govindan, on the other hand, stated unequivocally that rescue workers were also involved. He emphasized that if DYFI members were actually involved to bomb-making, they should be held accountable, while emphasizing that the CPI(M)'s mission was merely to mobilize the public and not engage in such heinous acts.
