Siddaramaiah Oath-Taking Ceremony: Congress Invites Leaders From 20 Parties To Attend Swearing-In Ceremony — Here's Full List

With Congress leader Siddaramaiah set to take the Oath to be the new CM of Karnataka, the grand old party has invited around 20 other parties to attend the ceremony. Check the full list below.

With the suspense of who will become the new Chief Minister of Karnataka coming to an end, Congress leader Siddaramaiah will become the new Chief Minister of the state and the Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar will become the Deputy Chief Minister. The Grand Old Party has sent invitations to around 20 parties to attend the Swearing-In ceremony however, it also left out some parties from the invitation list. 

As per sources close to ABP News, apart from the parties that support Congress as of now, it has only sent invitations to those parties that it has a possibility of forming a Gathbandhan with, in the near future.

Below is a list of the parties that have been invited to Siddaramaiah's Swearing-In ceremony:

  • National Conference (Jammu and Kashmir)
  • Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party
  • Samajwadi Party (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Rashtriya Lok Dal (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Janta Dal (United) (Bihar)
  • Rashtriya Janata Dal (Bihar)
  • Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (Bihar)
  • CPM (Bengal and Tripura)
  • CPI (Bengal)
  • Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
  • Shiv Sena (Maharashtra)
  • Nationalist Congress Party (Maharashtra)
  • Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (Tamil Nadu)
  • Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (Tamil Nadu)
  • Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (Tamil Nadu)
  • Kerala Congress
  • Indian Union Muslim League (Kerala)
  • Revolutionary Socialist Party of Kerala

Below is the list of the parties that haven't been invited to the ceremony:

  • Aam Aadmi Party (Delhi and Punjab)
  • Bahujan Samaj Party (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Biju Janata Dal (Odisha)
  • Bharat Rashtra Samithi (Telangana)
  • All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (Telangana)
  • Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress (Andhra Pradesh)
  • Telugu Desam Party (Andhra Pradesh)
  • All India United Democratic Front (Assam)
  • Janata Dal (Secular) (Karnataka)

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav will be attending the ceremony tomorrow along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee won't be attending the ceremony tomorrow however, TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar will be attending the Swearing-In ceremony in Mamata's place.
