Blast-Hit Rameswaram Cafe Reopens With Pooja, NIA Releases Fresh Videos Of Suspect

At Rameshwaram Cafe, the owners have made alterations to the cafe, including installation of two metal detectors at the entrance, to screen all customers before their entry.

Rameshwaram Cafe owner Raghavendra Rao thanked the government for helping them to reopen the cafe soon.

After a week-long closure, Rameswaram Cafe reopened its doors on Friday with a pooja ceremony and plans to resume customer service on Saturday. Pooja rituals began early on Friday morning at the cafe with the staff adorning the establishment with festive decorations. Ahead of the reopening, the owners have made alterations to the cafe including the installation of two metal detectors at the entrance to screen all the visitors of the cafe.

On the other hand, National Investigation Agency (NIA) released a video of the suspect linked to the case. 

Rameshwaram Cafe To Open For Public On March 9

After the pooja, Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe owner Raghavendra Rao told ANI, "We are re-opening the cafe tomorrow. We start our day with the national anthem. It is our mantra. We have given all CCTV footage and information. We are cooperating with them. We are very thankful to the govt for helping us reopen the cafe so soon. NIA will soon bring the culprit before us."

"We have taken all precautions before reopening. Govt & police have guided us on where to install more CCTVs. We will appoint one person just to keep a watch on the premises," he said.

Meanwhile, the staff will screen every customer using handheld detectors before allowing entry. The police have not yet removed the barricades around the cafe or on the adjacent road. Despite this, the pooja program began under police security.

NIA Releases Videos Of Suspect

The NIA released videos of the suspect linked to the Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, seeking citizens' help in ascertaining his identity. The agency asked citizens with relevant information to call them on their numbers or email.
