A High Commission of Canada release said that Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Navdeep Bains; Minister of International Trade François-Philippe Champagne and Minister of Transport Marc Garneau will lead a trade, technology and innovation mission to India next week. They will be accompanied by a delegation of nearly 200 Canadian business representatives.

While in New Delhi, the ministers will participate in the Canada-India Technology Summit, held at the Lalit Hotel on November 14-15. They will also meet several Indian Ministers and leaders of business and industry.

In the context of the technology summit, there will be several significant business and innovation announcements involving top-tier Canadian companies.
