'Terminator' first look shows women in action

Washington DC, [USA] August 02 (ANI): The first look of the much awaited 'Terminator' sequel is out and it features the three main characters, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, and Natalia Reyes holding weapons, ready for some action.

The still was released on The 'Terminator' official Twitter account. "Official first look at the new #Terminator featuring Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, and Linda Hamilton. Directed by Tim Miller (DEADPOOL). Produced by James Cameron and David Ellison. In theatres 11.22.19," the tweet read.

According to a report by Variety, the film will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger as the lead character and Linda Hamilton will be seen recreating her role as the tough outlaw. This will be the 6th sequel of the famous Franchise, the first edition of which came out in 1984.

The film, that is scheduled to release on November 22, 2019, will be directed by 'Deadpool' director Tim Miller and the production will be handled by James Cameron, who also directed 'The Terminator' and 'Terminator 2'.

The original version of the action thriller featured Arnold as the lead character who is sent back in time (from the year 2029 to 1984) to assassinate a waitress whose child will be lead humanity in a war against the machines in the future. (ANI)
