Taking to the Twitter, the Prime Minister wished the nation and said, "Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi."

The nation will today observe Ganesh Chaturthi, a Hindu festival that reveres god Ganesha.

On the last day of the festival, the idol is carried in a public procession with music and group chanting, then immersed in nearby water body. (ANI)
