Nagaland's Dimapur hosts third Makers Market

Dimapur (Nagaland) [India], Oct.3 (ANI): Local bakers, craftsmen and craftswomen, designers, chefs, producers, musicians and artists were given a unique opportunity on October 1 and 2 to showcase their skills and works at the two-day-long Makers' Market at Aiko Greens, Purana Bazar, Dimapur.

The objective was to create a platform for small and local businesses to come together and collaborate, as also to create an enhanced customer experience by thinking global and acting local.

It was said that the "Makers Market" was about trying to build sustainable local businesses for a thriving community.

The event also provided activities for kids, including bouncy castles, zorbing, jukebox and ATV rides.

Kids of all ages and adults were seen busy tasting all the delicious food, socialising, enjoying the music, and relaxing at the lovely Aiko Greens.

The Makers Market is a joint initiative of Zatara Pvt. Ltd, a Dimapur-based marketing company and NEbuzz.com, an online content portal from the Design Stash Team, who have conceptualized this periodic marketplace. This is the third such event and saw the participation of about 35 local producers and service providers. (ANI)
