India Morocco technical agreement gets approval

New Delhi [India] Feb 20 (ANI): Union Cabinet has given its approval to the Co-operation Agreement signed between the Indian and Morocco regarding the co-operation between the railways of the two countries.

The agreement was signed between the Indian Railway and the National Railways Office (ONCF) of Morocco, last year. The agreement will facilitate long term co-operation and help develop partnership between the two railway boards for the development of the railways in their respective countries.

The agreement was signed on December 14, 2017.

The agreement will help facilitate co-operation between the railways of the two countries at various levels.

It will help facilitate the exchange of technical expertise through the exchange of railway engineers. Apart from exchanging technical experts, the agreement will help in the exchange of railway personnel for training in the two countries.

This is likely to help in the overall development of the railway staff of the two countries. (ANI)
