Google, Facebook under scanner for tricking EU users into sharing personal information

Washington [United States], June 29 (ANI): A consumer advocacy report has accused tech giants Google and Facebook of using dark patterns to trick EU users into sharing more personal information.

The report by Norwegian Consumer Council has alleged that even Microsoft's Windows 10 is doing so but to a lesser extent, Cnet reported.

The concerns surround the framing or wording of privacy features which are claimed to be misleading and questionable. (ANI)
