Fog hits train services in Delhi

New Delhi [India], Jan. 31 (ANI): As many as 22 trains were cancelled, 32 delayed and two were rescheduled in Delhi, due to operational reasons and low visibility caused by a dip in the temperature.

The temperature in the northern part of the country remains to be low and have been witnessing a dense fog.

The temperature in the national capital was recorded to be 12 degree Celsius on Wednesday.

The air quality also remains to be 'very unhealthy', with the Air Quality Index (AQI) hovering around 225 to 164.

Delhi's Anand Vihar area recorded 227 AQI, which was the highest, while the minimum was recorded in Shadipur area. (ANI)
