Encounter underway in J-K's Kupwara

Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], July 25 (ANI): An encounter is underway between terrorists and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.

No casualties have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, a gun battle is underway between the forces and terrorists in Anantnag region.

In recent months, the state has witnessed a huge spurt in terror activities.

On July 24, an army man was killed and two others sustained bullet injuries after terrorists attacked the Central Reserve Police Force party at Srinagar's Batmaloo area.(ANI)
