Chhattisgarh: CM Raman Singh launches online pension system

Chhattisgarh [India], Jul 18 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Wednesday launched an online portal and mobile app called 'Aabhaar-Aapki seva ka' by the online pension management system for the pensioners of the state.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Raman Singh said, "There has been a big change in the system today. This government is grateful for the services you have given to people over the years."

Through this app and the website, 80,000 pensioners of the state will now get all the information related to pension and payment online.

The app, which is also available on Android, has been created by the state finance department.

"The app has been launched to provide transparency in the pension facility," he added.

Pensioners will get the benefit of senior pension with the State government's 7th pay scale before January 1, 2016.

This will bring an additional burden on the state government, which has also been mentioned during the budget. (ANI)
