Amit Shah Launches Light And Sound Show 'Jai Hind' In Red Fort. WATCH VIDEO

Amit Shah stated that all Indians should work toward making India the most populous nation in the world when it celebrates its 100th year of independence.

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday launched light and sound show titled ‘Jai Hind’ on Tuesday evening. According to the ministry of culture, the light and show in the new avatar was a dramatic display of "bravery and the history of India from the 17th century to the present day." Shah stated that all Indians should work toward making India the most populous nation in the world when it celebrates its 100th year of independence.

"We should have a vision of where our country must be in different sectors in the next 25 years and must work towards fulfilling it. In the next 25 years, India must be the most powerful nation," the minister added.

Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had planned for the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to be a national, multipurpose celebration after launching the light and sound show Jai Hind at the Red Fort.

He asserted that in the 75 years since its independence, the nation has successfully placed itself among the best nations.

He stated that the prime minister has referred to the next 25 years as "Amrit Kaal" because of the collective efforts of 130 crore Indians to place India at the top of the world.

The home minister mentioned educational facilities like Taxila and Nalanda and expressed appreciation for the efforts made to highlight India's glorious history through the light and sound show.

Shah also stated that the country has experienced all-around development during the eight years that the Narendra Modi government has been in office, and that the progress will continue.
