Ideas Of India 2024: Emmy-Nominated Producer, TV Host Padma Lakshmi To Talk About Docuseries 'Taste Of Nation'
Global icon, Emmy-nominated producer, TV host and food expert Padma Lakshmi will also be a part of the Ideas of India 2024 session.
New Delhi: 'Ideas Of India Summit', a series of ABP Network events, has entered its third edition. The ideas conclave will take place from February 23 to 24 and will feature prominent figures from several fields. Global icon, Emmy-nominated producer, TV host and food expert Padma Lakshmi will also be a part of the session. The food expert will be talking about diversity, authenticity and beauty in her session.
In the session titled, ‘Taste the Nation’, Padma Lakshmi will shed light on her years of expertise in the food industry. She will talk about the Americal travel and food documentary television series ‘ Taste the Nation’.
The show stars Padma Lakshmi and chronicles her travels around the United States as she discovers and learns about a specific food and culture in each city. The series which premeried in June 2020 has now been renewed for its second season.
Padma Parvati Lakshmi is an Indian-American writer, model, activist, and TV host. Before starting a career in television, she became a model. From 2006 to 2023, Lakshmi was the host of Bravo's Top Chef cooking competition show on a continual basis.
She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2009 and again in 2020–2022, this time for Outstanding Reality Host.
'Taste the Nation' with Padma Lakshmi is a docuseries that she created, hosted, and executive produced. It debuted on Hulu in June 2020. The show explores the cuisine and customs of American Indian and immigrant groups.
The Ideas Of India Summit
The 'Ideas Of India Summit' is ABP Network's flagship event that brings together the best of the best on a single platform to delve into the numerous similarities and vast differences that make up the world's largest democracy — 'India, that is Bharat'. February 23 and 24 will see the annual event's third edition come right ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2024 and set 'The People's Agenda'.
The previous two editions — with their themes 'Naya India' and 'Open-Minds Open Minds' — were extremely successful in bringing out the ideas and concepts that drive India, and the third edition promises to be nothing less.
