Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, on Saturday said that vaccine stock for the 15-17 age group is not enough in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
New Delhi: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, on Saturday said that vaccine stock for the 15-17 age group is not enough in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
He said that the "stock is not there even for today and tomorrow", and that new stock will be received by Monday, news agency ANI reported.

Pawar further said that this is leading to less vaccination of the 15-17 age group in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
The Deputy CM also said on Saturday that all schools for all classes in the Pune district are allowed to remain open full day, that is during the regular hours, from Monday, February 7, ANI reported.

With the caseload in Maharashtra going down, the state government has relaxed the Covid-19 related curbs.
The Covid-19 related restrictions have been relaxed for the districts in which 90 per cent of the population has been administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, according to a notice issued by the Office of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray.
As per the new guidelines released on January 31, tourist places, including national parks and safaris, are allowed to reopen.
Spas, beaches, gardens and parks are also allowed to reopen. Local authorities will decide the timings of the beaches, spas, and gardens.
Theme parks, swimming pools, restaurants can remain operational at 50 per cent capacity.
