PlayStation Plus Unveils Free Game Lineup For July: Diablo IV, Plus 15-Year Anniversary Bonuses

PlayStation Plus is hitting a major milestone this summer — 15 years of powering up gamers across the globe — and Sony is marking the occasion with a celebratory lineup of games and special events that extend far beyond just free downloads.
From new titles in July’s game drop to exclusive discounts and trials, the anniversary celebrations are built to keep players engaged all season long. As the service first went live on June 29, 2010, the team at Sony Interactive Entertainment is using the moment to say thanks.

Diablo IV (PS4, PS5) headlines the offering, bringing next-gen action RPG gameplay where you can slay demons, explore a richly dark open world, and team up with friends through cross-platform multiplayer and progression.
Fighting game enthusiasts can throw down in The King of Fighters XV (PS4, PS5), a modernised take on the classic 3-on-3 fighter, complete with 39 playable characters, rollback netcode for smoother online matches, and the “Classic Leona” costume DLC as part of the Plus bundle.
Meanwhile, puzzle lovers can scale new heights in Jusant (PS5), a serene yet challenging climbing adventure that asks players to navigate a mysterious tower while managing tools, stamina, and secrets from a forgotten civilisation.
Anniversary Perks: Trials, Tournaments & More
To honour the community, PlayStation is rolling out a range of extras. Premium/Deluxe members can now test out WWE 2K25 and Monster Hunter Wilds via Game Trials, while all members can score big discounts on major titles like Star Wars Outlaws and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII during the Exclusive Offer Weekend from June 27 to 29.
Valorant fans get a treat too — a free cosmetic pack featuring gun buddies, sprays, a player card, and 10 Radianite Points, all at no extra cost.
Competitive players can jump into the 15th Anniversary Cup Tournament beginning June 28. Titles like Tekken 8, EA Sports FC, and NBA 2K are on the roster, and winners can bag in-game currency, exclusive PSN avatars, and even movie credits via Sony Pictures Core.
From now through August 12, Premium members can also enjoy 15% off on up to 2,000 movies from the Sony Pictures Core library.
15 Years of PS Plus: A Legacy of Games
PlayStation Plus has evolved significantly since its inception, now offering a rich catalogue of over 500 monthly games and enhanced access to online multiplayer, cloud gaming, and exclusive store discounts.
Its game catalogue for Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers has also expanded since its relaunch three years ago. According to Sony, recent top-played titles (April 1 – May 28, 2025) include Ghost of Tsushima, God of War Ragnarök, GTA V, Hogwarts Legacy, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part I.
And if you're not a member yet? This weekend, from June 28 at 12:01 am to June 29 at 11:59 pm local time, everyone gets access to online multiplayer, no subscription required.
