Rumors and clarifications about Brar’s ‘death’
Brar, also known as Satinderjeet Singh, is a prime suspect in the murder case of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. In 2023, he confessed that Bollywood actor Salman Khan was next on his hit list.
Recently, rumors circulated that Brar was shot dead in an incident at Fairmont and Holt Avenue in the United States. With rival gangsters Arsh Dalla and Lakhbir publicly claiming responsibility for Brar's death, social media has been inundated with discussions about the gangster.
However, U.S. police stated on April 2, 2024, that reports of Brar being shot were false. Lieutenant William J Dooley clarified, "If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is 'Goldy Brar,' we can confirm that this is absolutely not true."
The Fresno Police Department (archived here) released a statement on May 2 about the shooting incident that sparked rumors about Brar’s death. They reported that on April 30, 2024, officers found 37-year-old Xavier Gladney with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The police have identified 33-year-old Darren Williams as a suspect and have issued an arrest warrant for him.
The verdict
The viral video showing a daylight shooting on the streets depicts an incident from July 2023 in New Orleans. It has no connection to Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar or the recent rumors about his alleged death. Therefore, we have marked this claim as false.
