Collapsed Wall In Ayodhya Was Not Part Of Redeveloped Railway Station, Clarifies Centre
The purported video of the incident had been widely shared on social media and drew strong reactions from politicians and the public.
The Centre on Sunday debunked a claim on social media that the boundary wall of the recently inaugurated Ayodhya Dham railway station has collapsed. The Fact Check unit of the Press Information Bureau flagged the post as misleading and clarified that the collapsed part was not part of the new station infrastructure but belonged to the old station area.
The PIB further stated that the wall had collapsed due to excavation work by a private person and water logging in a private area.
"A video claims that boundary wall of recently inaugurated new Ayodhya Dham railway station has collapsed," said the PIB's Fact Check unit in a post on social media platform X.
