'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' Star Fawad Khan Joins MCU, To Feature In 'Ms. Marvel'

Fawad Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Khoobsurat', has confirmed his appearance in Disney+ series 'Ms. Marvel'.

New Delhi: Popular Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who ruled millions of hearts with his power-packed performance as Zaroon in 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai', is all set to star in Marvel Studios' much-awaited series 'Ms. Marvel'. The talented actor has joined the Marvel Cinematic universe as he will be seen in the upcoming mini-series, which will beam on Disney+. 

Fawad, while talking to Film Companion, confirmed that he will feature in ‘Ms. Marvel’. Without giving details about his character, the ‘Humsafar’ star shared his experience while working with other actors on the sets.  

"The cast that I worked with, the people that I worked with, it was good fun, but I am sorry, I cannot say anything more than that at this point in time," Fawad told Film Companion as quoted as saying by Daily Star.

Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed Reunite For New Series

The two stars will be soon seen sharing screen space in a new series. After winning hearts as Zaroon and Kashaf in 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai', the duo will work together in a never-before-seen project, which is said to be a tale of love and loss. Sanam and Fawad's photo from the sets of the untitled project created ripples on social media. 

Sharing a photo with Sanam from the sets, Fawad wrote, "I am overjoyed to be a part of this new series by Asim and Zindagi and to be collaborating with @sanammody again. This show will be a genre-bending saga of familial traumas and reconciliations, a tale of love and loss set in a world of magic and mystique. It’s been an incredible ride and I cannot wait to share more of it with you."

Fawad Khan's Bollywood Journey

The 'Dastaan' actor made his Bollywood debut with 'Khoobsurat' opposite Sonam Kapoor in 2014. Their sizzling chemistry managed to set the big screens on fire. Fawad later went on to work in 'Kapoor & Sons' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. He received rave reviews for his performance as a  closeted homosexual writer in 'Kapoor & Sons', which also starred Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and late Rishi Kapoor.
