New Delhi: Netflix has unveiled the teaser for the prequel to the spin-off to 'Bridgerton' titled 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story'. The series is set to stream from May 4 on the streaming platform.
Taking to Instagram, Netflix wrote, “A love story that changed the world. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, streaming May 4 only on Netflix. Save the date.”

The focus of "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story," a prequel to Bridgerton, is Queen Charlotte's rise to influence and power. It outlines how the young Queen's marriage to King George sparked a wonderful love story and a social revolution that gave rise to the world of the tonne that the Bridgerton characters inherited.
India Amarteifio will portray a young Queen Charlotte in the series, which will also follow her ascent to power and her romance with Corey Mylchreest's young King George.
Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hugh Sachs are all returning cast members from the first season as Lady Agatha Danbury, Lady Violet Bridgerton, and Brimsley, respectively. Arsema Thomas will be making her television debut as a young Agatha Danbury, Charlotte's confidante and friend at a time when her majesty most needed counsel.
Earlier, Arsema Thomas' first look as the young Lady Agatha Danbury in the Netflix limited series was unveiled. Agatha, is a woman who uses Charlotte's ascension to the throne to help her become accepted in society while being ruled by a much older husband.
'Bridgerton', a historical drama series, debuted in December 2020 and shot to fame shortly afterward. In March 2022, the show's second season was released. The third season of the television series, which is based on Julia's love stories about the relationships of eight Bridgerton brothers, is scheduled to air in 2023 along with the prequel.
