A new web TV series based on the Harry Potter books is in the making.
New Delhi: A new web TV series based on the Harry Potter books is being considered, it was reported a few days ago by Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. To ensure that it is a true adaptation, the new show will include a whole new cast and a season for each of the books. The show has received support from author J.K. There will be an entirely new cast for the new series, which is being promoted as a complete break from the earlier film adaptations.
Now, the announcement has received a mixed response from fans of the novels and the previous films in the franchise, who have criticised it. The fans have also predicted that the new adaptation will be nothing more than a letdown.
Here is what fans had to say:
As much as I love the harry potter universe idk about the tv show, we have the original golden trio and there are SO many other stories that could have been explored in the same wizarding world #HarryPotterHBO pic.twitter.com/3qTaOJMOuL

Warner Bros are crazy for thinking that rebooting Harry Potter into a show will be as good as the original movies...
