Vikas Gupta remembered Sushant Singh Rajput and praised his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande for bringing a smile on his face.

New Delhi: The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has sent shock waves across the film industry. The talented actor, who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Kai Po Che’, committed suicide by hanging himself at his apartment on June 14. Several tinsel town celebs including Shah Rukh Khn, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma mourned his death on social media. His ardent fans have flooded Twitter and Instagram with old videos and pictures of the ‘Raabta’ actor. The ‘Bigg Boss 11’ contestant said that Sushant was able to say no to the project because of his ‘shock absorber’ Ankita Lokhande. Vikas posted the throwback picture in which Sushant can be seen posing with Ankita, Pooja Gor, Raj Singh Arora and Nivedita Basu. “This was the time when I saw him the carefree fun happy lad sushu was . He dint worry about anything. He could leave the number 1 show on Indian television and we could for weeks do nothing and make plans in chai coffee and discuss learning film making plans - I remember him saying No to #Aurangzeb because He was offered the other brothers role and i remember he said how will I say no to Yash Raj but he was able to cause that mad girl in the middle of the picture would say you do what makes you happy we will do when you are sure about things and he would grin like in this picture," Vikas wrote. Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput played the respective characters of Archana and Manav in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’. They fell in love on the sets of their popular show. The ex couple parted ways in 2016, leaving everyone surprised.
