Sumona Chakravarti to play lead role in an upcoming detective TV series?

The 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' actress and Kapil Sharma's comedy partner seen currently on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is all set to make a comeback on a TV show if reports are to be believed. Seen in various Bollywood films, the 'Dhamaal' series fame Bollywood actor Ashish Chowdhry who has done a few TV shows too out of which he was appreciated mostly for his role in 'Ek Mutthi Aasman'  4 years ago is now playing the lead role on this detective series tentatively titled  'Dev Anand' and Sumona might be playing the lead opposite him. Ashish Chowdhry Nissar Parvez and Alind Srivastava's show for Colors will be a detective cum thriller show. A source told Tellychakkar, "Sumona is presently in advanced talks to play the lead in the detective series on Colors. If she goes on to sign on the dotted lines, she will be paired opposite Ashish Chowdhry." ALSO - Sumona Chakravarti and this 21 yr old son of a HOT TV Actress & 'Bigg Boss 6' winner are the new BFFs Sumona has been proving her comedy skills in shows like 'Comedy Circus', 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' and now TKSS and did some TV shows alongside too, like ' Ek Thhi Naayka', 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' and 'Jamai Raja' being the latest. If this news turns out true then it would be interesting to watch Sumona finally floor us with her acting skills as a lead actress on a show. And we expect some action sequences from her too!
