New Delhi: Popular TV actor Sidharth Shukla, who turned a year older on Saturday (December 12), hogged all the limelight on his birthday after a man accused him of assaulting a poor person. A clip went viral on social media in which the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner can be seen wearing the same T-shirt which he donned for his birthday celebration with Shehnaaz Gill. Truth Behind Sidharth Shukla's Viral Video

According to a report in an entertainment portal, Sidharth Shukla's brother-in-law received a phone call from his staff members about some goons. The goons threatened the 'Dil Se Dil Tak' actor and his brother-in-law with knives but they somehow managed to get them behind the bars. Shukla mentioned about getting the goons having knives in the viral clip. "In the wee hours of Saturday, Sidharth’s brother-in-law received a call from his staff regarding some goons to which both went to check on what was happening. When the two spotted it and tried to stop them, the men had knives in their hands and tried to threaten them. Sidharth and his brother-in-law somehow managed to take them to a local police station and the men are behind bars now," a source told ETimes.

The TV heartthrob was arrested for rash driving in 2018. He was released after he paid a penalty of Rs 5000. Shukla was also caught in a case of drunk driving in 2014. Sidharth's 'Dil Se Dil Tak' co-star Kunal Verma had slammed the actor for being 'unprofessional'. Verma accused the 'BB 13' winner of hurling abuses at him while talking to Times Of India in 2017.
