‘Qubool Hai’ actress Alka Kaushal sentenced 2 years of IMPRISONMENT

New Delhi: In a major blow to Renowned TV actress Alka Kaushal, a district court in Punjab upheld the 2 years jail sentence verdict given by a local court. Known for portraying the negative character ‘Razia Gaffor’ in Zee TV’s hit show ‘Qubool Hai’, TV actress Alka Kaushal is currently going through a tough phase. Alka ‘Qubool Hai’ actress Alka Kaushal sentenced 2 years of IMPRISONMENT Alka Kaushal and her mother find themselves behind bars as a cheque signed by them got bounced. As per reports in Amar Ujala, “Advocate Sukhbir Singh said that Alka and her mother had borrowed 50 Lakhs from an acquaintance, Avtar Singh. The money was borrowed with the promise of serial-making. When Avtar asked Alka to give back her money, he got 2 cheques of 25 Lakhs each. But they got bounced. After that Avtar, filed a case against Alka and her mother in Malerkotla court.” ‘Qubool Hai’ actress Alka Kaushal sentenced 2 years of IMPRISONMENT ‘Qubool Hai’ actress Alka Kaushal sentenced 2 years of IMPRISONMENT In year 2015, the actress was sentenced to jail for two years but Alka filed petition in Sangrur Court. Now, on Thursday, Sangrur’s district court upheld the order of Malerkortla court. Alka has also played a prominent role in Colors TV show Swaragini.
