OHH! Sharman Joshi not in ‘Diya Aur Baati Him 2’

New Delhi : One of the most popular show of Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati’ will go off air from August.Serial is hailed as one of the most progressive show where an illiterate husband, Sooraj (Anas Rashid) helps his wife Sandhya (Deepika Singh) follow her dreams of becoming an IPS officer. It ruled the channel for two years but the TRPs have been declining since some time now. Ealier we told you that for the second season of ‘Diya Aur Baati’, Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi has been approached. But now as the actor has spoke to an entertainment website, things look different. According to the website, Sharman said that this is not true at all. I have no clue about this. Don’t know where these rumours are coming from.” It looks like that the makers are on a lookout for an actor who can play a 35 year old. Actor Sonu Sood also said that he is not going to be part of the venture. He said, “It is totally untrue.” The second season of ‘Diya Aur Baati’ will be shot in Kerala with the new leads. Neelu Vaghela, Kanika Maheshwari and Karan Godwani will be retained from the original cast. The show will end on a positive note and the last tracks will focus on child-trafficking.
