Kumkum Bhagya: Arjit Taneja aka Purab quits the show!

New Delhi: Here comes a bad news for Kumkum Bhagya fans! After Shikha Singh aka Aaliya another loving character has decided to quit the Ekta Kapoor show. According to the reports actor Arjit Taneja who portrays the role of Purab in the show has put in his papers. Reports claims that Arjit is now on a six-month notice period and his last day of shoot is August 12. A source close to a leading daily has said, "Arjit acknowledges that he has got immense popularity with the character Purab. He didn't want to quit the show as he has gotten too attached to the unit. But there is nothing much left for him to do in the show as Purab's character lost prominence over a period of time. And this prompted him to take the step to put in his papers in February."
