After 'Ishqbaaaz', Divyanka Tripathi & Karan Patel’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ to go OFF-AIR?

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was launched at 11pm slot but was later shifted to prime time slot
The show stars Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in lead roles
Speculations are rife that Star Plus will axe YHM and Krishna Chali London
New Delhi: It seems Star Plus is looking to axe some of its under-performing shows. Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor starrer ‘Ishqbaaaz’ is all set to bid adieu to the viewers. Earlier in the day, we informed you that the channel might pull the plug on Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra’s ‘Krishna Chali London’. Now, as per the latest buzz, the channel is also contemplating to take out another show. The show in question is ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, which stars Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in lead roles.

After ‘Ishqbaaaz’, ‘Krishna Chali London’ to go off air on Star Plus?

A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Star Plus is all set to refresh its programming line-up by bringing new shows and ending shows which are not doing well in terms of TRPs. Aditi Bhatia aka Ruhi, while talking to the portal, said that the team is yet to receive an official confirmation from the makers and channel. “We don’t have official information about the show going off, but yes have heard rumours,” Ruhi told IWMBuzz. CONFIRMED! Nakuul Mehta-Niti Tyalor's 'Ishqbaaaz' to go off-air on THIS date! The rumours of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ going off air have been rife for quite some time. The daily soap from the stable of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Productions was initially launched at the 11pm slot. The show did wonders, despite being aired at the late night slot. The channel moved the show to 7:30pm slot and YHM dominated the slot and became the slot leader in no time, giving the rival show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ full on competition. Star Plus moved ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ to 10:30pm slot to accommodate ‘Marian Khan-Reporting Live’. YHM is still doing decent at its current slot but storyline has been exhausted and the makers are trying hard to spice up things. It was even said that show will get its own spin-off and it will be titled ‘Yeh Hai Chhatein’. It remains to be seen if YHM will finally go off air after a glorious run of five years or not.
