Dipika Kakar-Shoaib Ibrahim To Part Ways? Couple Respond To Divorce Rumours

Television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who have been happily married for seven years, recently found themselves caught up in speculation about their relationship.

Television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who have been happily married for seven years, recently found themselves caught up in speculation about their relationship. However, the duo took to Shoaib’s vlog to clear the air, dismissing the divorce rumours as baseless and reacting to them in a lighthearted manner. 

Dipika and Shoaib react to divorce rumours

Rather than being upset, Shoaib and Dipika chose to poke fun at the gossip. In the vlog, Shoaib playfully tells Dipika, “Tumne mujhe bataya nahi ke industry mein ek aur shaadi toot rahi hai woh hamari hai (laughs) (You didn't tell me that one more marriage is being broken in the industry, and it is ours).” 

Dipika, in response, quipped, “Main kyu batao tumko? Main sumdi mein yeh sab karungi (Why should I tell you? I will do all these things secretly).” 

The couple, who were seen spending time together in the kitchen, continued to laugh about the rumours, with Dipika sarcastically adding, “Yay, you're the first one to break the news to us.” 

Shoaib also shared the rumours with his family, who found them equally amusing. He then jokingly told Dipika, “Ramzan ka mahina pura nikal dete hai uske baad dekhenge. (It is the Ramadan month. Let’s stay together for a month).” Wrapping up the vlog, he urged people not to spread false news, saying, “Kuch bhi mat news banaye (Don't create any such news).” 

Dipika and Shoaib’s love story 

Dipika first met Shoaib on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka in 2011 while she was married to pilot Raunak Samson. After her divorce in 2015, rumours swirled that her closeness with Shoaib was the reason for her separation, a claim she has denied. Shoaib and Dipika tied the knot in 2018 and embraced parenthood in 2023 with the birth of their son, Ruhaan.
