Dipika Kakar Upset With Pregnancy Speculations, In 'No Mood To Address Or Refute The Rumours'

Dipika Kakar, who is mother to a son, has found herself entangled in pregnancy rumours once again. The actress is upset with the speculations regarding expanding her family.

Dipika Kakar, who is mother to a son, has found herself entangled in pregnancy rumours once again. Dipika and Shoaib Ibrahim became parents to their son Ruhaan in June 2023, since then there have been speculations regarding her second pregnancy many times. The actress has consistently chosen to remain tight-lipped amidst the rumours regarding expanding her family.  

Recently, paparazzi captured Dipika holding her firstborn, Ruhaan, in her arms. In the footage, she was dressed in a loose white suit, with her stomach subtly concealed by her dupatta. Many viewers interpreted this as a 'baby bump,' igniting further rumours.

A Hindustan Times report quoted its source denying the pregnancy rumours. "She is not anticipating her second child. There are no such intentions. She has simply undergone some weight gain post-Ruhaan’s birth and intends to soon embark on a journey to regain her fitness. Whenever there's a slight hint of something in a video or photo, pregnancy rumours start swirling within seconds. This has been the case with several actresses recently,” Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.

Kakar is displeased by the social media buzz surrounding the speculation. "She is quite upset and unwilling to engage with the topic. Dipika has no desire to address or refute the rumors; she prefers to maintain her privacy and refrain from discussing the matter altogether," the insider told Hindustan Times. 

Shoaib was recently a part of the celebrity dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ where Dipika spoke about their marriage.

“Earlier, he was romantic, but he did not show it and would say he doesn’t know how to express himself.' Recently, it was our anniversary, and he was shooting, so I wasn't expecting anything. When he came back, he got me a set of nice diamond earrings. But what surprised me the most was that he has started writing. I have been writing since he came into my life, but now he has started writing to impress me. It was very special for me. The most special thing was when I was away for three months, he had kept a diary detailing everything. Those diaries are still with me," Dipika said on the show

She further added: "When I came back, the gift I got from him was those two diaries where he had written in detail about everything he did every day, whom he met, and how much he missed me. That's how he expresses himself."

Dipika and Shoaib got married in February 2018 after dating for a few years. They had met on the sets of their show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’.
