Salman Khan finally announced Bigg Boss 17's theme and launch date in the latest promotional videos.

Bigg Boss season 17 will begin airing on October 15 on Colors.

New Delhi: Salman Khan has officially announced the release date of the upcoming reality show 'Bigg Boss 17'. In a new promotional video, Salman Khan discussed the show's premise while disguised as a Qawali singer. After releasing the first ‘Bigg Boss 17’ teaser, Salman has now announced the start date and location for the next season.

Salman Khan adopts a qawwali style in the first promo. He talked to Bigg Boss through a gramophone. This promo was posted by Colors on their Instagram account with the message "Na jaane dene honge ishq ke kitne imtehaan, taaki bann paaye Bigg Boss ke khaas mehmaan."

Salman mentions that some housemates may get special treatment. Bigg Boss assures him that he will be able to spend time in the house with some of his favourite contestants. Salman has said that Bigg Boss would have a series of tests for couples before they are allowed into the house. This is quite intriguing.

In the next promo, Salman Khan talks about three distinct avatars of Bigg Boss: Dil (heart), dimaag (mind), and dum (power).

On October 15, Colors will begin airing the 17th season of Bigg Boss. Several celebrities, including Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Armaan Malik, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, and more, have reportedly signed on for the next season of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

‘Bigg Boss 17’ will premiere at 10 PM Monday to Friday and 9 PM Saturday and Sunday.
