New Delhi: There’s a reason ‘Bigg Boss’ is called the biggest reality show on Indian television. Even before the show gets launched, it continues to create buzz on social media. After a lackluster season 12, the makers of the show are all set to launch ‘Bigg Boss 13’.  Last year, TV’s popular bahu Dipika Kakar defeated the likes of Karanvir Bohra, Sreesanth, Deepak Thakur and Romil Chaudhary to lift the winner’s trophy of BB 12. Gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that Karan Patel has also been approached by the makers. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the makers are keen to have the ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actor on the show. Interestingly, we have seen Karan Patel on ‘Bigg Boss 11’ and ‘Bigg Boss 12’ as a guest.

‘’The makers really want Karan to come on the show. When he came on the show during the last season, his appearance was immensely loved by the show’s audience. His honest no-nonsense attitude on the show was loved by everyone,” a source told Latestly. (Shilpa Shinde & Karan Patel in Bigg Boss 12) However, when the portal contacted the actor, he said that he was not approached for the show. ‘’Nobody has even remotely approached me for Bigg Boss. No one has even   spoken or asked me about it yet,” Karan was quoted as saying by the portal. (Karan Patel in Bigg Boss 11, source- Twitter) On the professional front, Karan Patel is currently seen playing the role of Raman Bhalla in Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ opposite Divyanka Tripathi. The show is rumoured to go off air and if things work out, we might see Karan in Bigg Boss 13. (Divyanka & Karan in YHM) Talking about the show, the new season of ‘Bigg Boss’ will only feature celebrities as contestants.
