Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi To Be Engaged Tomorrow; Announcement Out
As per reports, Varun-Lavanya's engagement will take place at Varun's house and will be a close-knit affair with just family and close friends in attendance.
New Delhi: Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are all set to get engaged on June 9. As per an announcement on Thursday, the long-rumoured couple will not finally be engaged. Over the last few weeks, several reports regarding their engagement seem to have been doing the rounds on social media. However, neither Varun Tej nor Lavanya Tripathi reacted to the rumoured reports.
However, on Thursday Telugu publicist Vamsi-Sekhar announced on Twitter the engagement news of Varun Tej and Lavanya. "Mega prince @IAmVarunTej and @Itslavanya getting engaged on 9th June, 2023. Wishing a lifetime of happiness together (sic),” the tweet read.

As per reports, Varun-Lavanya's engagement will take place at Varun's house where his and Lavanya's parents will be present. It will be a close-knit affair with just family and close friends in attendance.
As per Varun and Lavanya's host, the two were on a holiday. While Varun seemed to be in Italy, it is not clear if the two were on holiday together.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have worked together in two Telugu films: 'Mister' and 'Antariksham 9000 KPH'. Meanwhile, Varun has recently completed filming his upcoming project ' Gandeevadhari Arjuna'. The film has been directed by 'Parveen Sattaru' and will be a spy thriller. 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' is slated to be released on August 25, 2023.
As per reports, Varun will begin promoting his film two weeks after the engagement.
On Thursday, makers also shared a new poster of the film along with the announcement of its release date which has been finalized. Lavanya, on the other hand, was last seen in Telugu comedy 'Happy Birthday'. She played dual role in the film. She also made her OTT debut in the role of a cop in 'Puli Meka' Telugu series.
