Leo Box Office Collection Day 11: Vijay Starrer Crosses Rs 300 Crore Mark In India

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' is breaking record after record at the Indian box office.

New Delhi: Since its release, Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' has had an incredible run in theaters. The action thriller, however, met with mixed reviews, is breaking record after record at the box office. 'Leo' has broken the Rs 300-crore record net in India after just 11 days of release. 

As per the Sacknilk report, on the eleventh day of its release, ‘Leo’ has achieved a total revenue of Rs 16 crore across the Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions. This figure was Rs 2 crore higher than the second Saturday, which saw the film collect Rs 14 crore. With an increase in revenue on Sunday, the film has managed to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in India.

‘Leo’ showed a strong performance in all three languages. In Tamil, the occupancy of’ Leo’ was 55.07%; in Telugu, it was 38.62%; and in Hindi, it was 15.98%, respectively.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared the box office collection of the film ‘Leo’.

“#Leo WW Box Office Film FAILS to beat jailer on the second weekend too. On BMS in India day 11 sold 339.67K for Jailer compared to 164.38K Leo. This is a difference of 51.606%. As weekend is over, weekdays will be very crucial for Joseph Vijay starrer,” he wrote.

‘Leo’ is loosely based on the 2005 film ‘A History of Violence’. The plot of the film revolves around the story of Parthiban (Parthi) Das, a humble cafe proprietor who is transformed into a local hero after committing an act of violence, which puts him under the surveillance of a drug-dealing gang that believes he was once a member of their organization.

The film stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead and marks Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s debut in Kollywood.
