‘Leo’ is loosely based on the 2005 film ‘A History of Violence’. The plot of the film revolves around the story of Parthiban (Parthi) Das, a humble cafe proprietor who is transformed into a local hero after committing an act of violence, which puts him under the surveillance of a drug-dealing gang that believes he was once a member of their organization.
The film stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead and marks Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s debut in Kollywood.
