Sharing his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), he posted, “In a few days, it will be 10 years of @BaahubaliMovie ‘The Beginning’ theatrical release! Around this time leading up to the release and a few days after the release were the most nerve racking and tense moments me and all of us involved with the film lived through.”

What to Expect from the Baahubali Re-Release
Hints of a re-release had already surfaced when Yarlagadda recently tweeted, “I am thrilled to inform you all that we are planning an Indian and international re-release of @BaahubaliMovie in October this year. It won't just be a re-release, it will be a year of celebration for our beloved fans! Expect nostalgia, new reveals, and a few epic surprises along the way. Stay tuned! #ReliveTheEpic! #BaahubaliReturns.”
This October, fans can expect not just a visual spectacle but a reimagined viewing experience, celebrating a legacy that started in 2015 with Baahubali: The Beginning, which starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah. The film created a box office storm upon release and became a cultural phenomenon.
The Baahubali franchise reached its peak with Baahubali 2 in 2017, which opened across over 9,000 screens worldwide and went on to earn more than ₹1800 crore globally. It was the first Indian film to surpass ₹1000 crore at the box office and remains the highest-grossing Indian film as of 2025.
The impact extended beyond commercial success—Baahubali 2 also earned acclaim at both national and international platforms, clinching three National Awards and the Saturn Award for Best International Film.
