Ajith Kumar Completes Dubbing For 'Vidaamuyarchi' In Azerbaijan Ahead Of Pongal 2025 Release

The highly anticipated Tamil action thriller film 'Vidaamuyarchi', starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is finally nearing its completion.

New Delhi: The long-awaited Tamil action movie ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, which stars Ajith Kumar, is now ticking down the last stages of production. From mid-2024, there were many setbacks that prevented the debut of the film, which is Ajith and filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni's first collaboration. Now, as per the new reports, Ajith Kumar has finished dubbing his scenes.

The production house posted a picture of Ajith Kumar in Baku, Azerbaijan, with director Thirumeni and the sound designer on Instagram to announce that dubbing had finished. The caption read: "Ajith Kumar completes dubbing for VidaaMuyarchi in Baku, Azerbaijan."

Teaser and Release Date

The film's teaser, which was recently unveiled, has impressed fans and cine-goers alike. has won over fans and moviegoers with its impressive cast, which includes Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and others. 

The teaser confirms that ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ is an adaptation of the 1997 American thriller film ‘Breakdown’. A couple's cross-country road vacation takes a gloomy turn in ‘Breakdown’ when their car breaks down.

The makers confirmed that the film will be in theatres during ‘Pongal 2025’.

Ajith Kumar plays the lead role, while Trisha Krishnan plays the role of his estranged wife. The villain is played by Arjun Sarja, while the supporting cast includes Regina Cassandra, Arav, Sravan, Nikhil Nair, and others. Nirav Shah and Om Prakash are in charge of cinematography, while Anirudh Ravichander composes the music. 

Next year, Ajith Kumar will also return to the big screen with 'Good Bad Ugly', which is directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
