During a court appearance in 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi made the statement that "We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur."

New Delhi: On Sunday night, Punjab’s Director-General of Police, VK Bhawra, said that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was brutally murdered as a result of an inter-gang feud that involves a thug named Lawrence Bishnoi. At least thirty shots were fired in the direction of the singer and politician. There were also two of his associates riding along with him in the vehicle.

Not many people know that Lawrence once vowed to assassinate Bollywood star, Salman Khan. Lawrence Bishnoi's thugs threatened to kill Salman Khan back in 2018.

Bishnois see blackbucks as sacrosanct. Bengaluru police detained a guy claiming to be Bishnoi's acquaintance in 2018. According to reports, he was ordered to kill Salman Khan as punishment for the blackbuck hunting case.

During a court appearance in 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi made the statement that "We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur. Everyone will know once we take action. I have not done anything as of now, they are accusing me of crimes for no reason."

After assessing the danger, the Mumbai Police increased Salman's protection. Hindustan Times quoted a senior police officer saying, "We have enhanced the overall security of Salman Khan. Police will be present around his apartment to make sure no nefarious activity is done by the gang from Rajasthan."

Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is becoming an issue for authorities in states like Punjab, Delhi and Haryana, as well as Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Murder to extortion is among the more than two dozen charges that have been filed against Bishnoi.
