Given the current situation in this pandemic, many industries have come to a halt including the Entertainment industry. Bollywood is gradually limping back to its feet which is a positive thing to know. Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Takht’ which is a multi-starrer movie has been reportedly put on hold for now due to the social distancing norms currently. The ensemble cast includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. However, the ‘Kalank’ filmmaker is currently working on another script which is apparently a love story starring the ‘Gully Boy’ couple. Based on a report by PinkVilla, it has been revealed by a source that KJo has been working on the film all throughout the lockdown. It added that the script has also been narrated to both Ranveer and Alia recently. “Karan has been working on the script all through the lockdown and recently narrated it to both Ranveer and Alia. They loved it and have given their verbal nod to the film. It’s a love story with a fun vibe. Karan will step away from his intense zone and go back to something along the lines of his debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”’, said the report. Speaking about Takht, the same report revealed, “Takht will have to be mounted on a certain scale and needs several actors in the same frame all through the narrative, which won’t be possible given the present social distancing guidelines. So, the project has been put on hold for now.  The team will decide on the future course of action once the on-ground scenario gets back to normal." On the professional front, Ranveer Singh’s next ‘83’ is slated to hit the screens by the end of this year. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will be next seen starring in ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
