New Delhi: Vinod Suryavanshi, who has played the role of new Sachiv ji, recently opened up about working on the Prime Video show 'Panchayat Season 3', his experience of working with veteran cast members like Neena Gupta and Rahubir Yadav. Not many know that the now seasoned actor worked as a security guard before deciding to become a junior artist. 

Vinod Suryavanshi was a security guard

Talking about his humble beginnings, Vinod Suryavanshi said that he used to work as a security guard and worked the night shifts. Sharing that since he did not have much to do during the day, Vinod, on the recommendation of his friend decided to go to Film City. It was there that he was being offered some money as a junior artist.

In an interaction with ABP Entertainment Live, Vinod shared that the best part about working at the Film City was getting the daily provision of food. "Mahaul vaghera acha laga, to aise laga ki naukri se acha hai ki junior artist ka hi role kar lo. Phir junior artist ka kam maine kia, ded-do sal, dheere dheere auditions dena shuru kia( I liked the environment, so I thought about leaving my job and working as a junior artist. I worked as junior artist for 1.5-2 years and began auditioning)," adding that he then began networking with people about auditions, casting calls and more.

 

About working with the seasoned cast of Panchayat Season 3

Vinod Suryavanshi also spoke about his experience of working with Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Faisal Malik. Talaking about how supportive Deepak bhai( director Deepak Kumar Mishra) was, Vinod shared that he was slightly apprehensive of working with seasoned actors but their good-naturedness and earnestness to help him perform better was of great help to him.

‘Panchayat Season 3’ marks the return of Jitendra Kumar as Sachiv ji and the entire Phulera mandali, this time with complex politics and village dynamics.
