'The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth' based on Sheena Bora murder case to stream on Netflix from February 23.

New Delhi: In the Netflix documentary series 'The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth', Indrani Mukerjea will discuss the Sheena Bora murder case. The series will debut on over-the-top platform Netflix next month, the streaming service revealed on Monday along with a poster. The poster covered part of Indrani's face. She allegedly killed Sheena Bora in 2012, and made headlines later when she was arrested by the police in 2015.

Netflix is all set to release it's documentary "The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth" on February 23.

The documentary, for which the streamer has collaborated with MakeMake and India Today Group, promises to peel back the layers of the sensational murder of Sheena Bora and the subsequent arrest of Bora's sister and media executive Indrani Mukerjea. Mukerjea and her husband, media tycoon Peter Mukerjea, were arrested in 2015.

The docu-series features Indrani Mukerjea, her children - Vidhie Mukherjea and Mikhail Bora, veteran journalists, and lawyers spotlighting dysfunctional family dynamics and complex motivations, the streamer said in a release. Sharing a poster, Netflix India wrote, "A sensational scandal that rocked the entire nation, with one family's darkest secrets at the center of it all.
