The Great Indian Kapil Show: Kapil Sharma Nervously Chats In English With Ed Sheeran, Says 'I'll Pass My 10th English Exam If You...'

Kapil Sharma released a BTS video from ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Know how Kapil interacted in English.

New Delhi: Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma displayed his English skills in a behind-the-scenes video from the last episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. The episode featured renowned British singer Ed Sheeran as the guest. In the video, Kapil is seen chatting with Ed and he struggles with his English. The episode was a great mashup of comedy and music. Kapil kept Ed and the audience amused with his comedic style despite his language limitations.

The BTS video shows Kapil venting to Archana Puran Singh about how difficult it is for him to learn English. He said, “I learn one hundred to fifty words of English in a year, while Oxford adds four thousand words to the dictionary every year.”

He added, “The first syllabus is already overwhelming us, and now they're giving us the second one.”

Kapil used chits, which he would take out of his pockets throughout the performance, to help him remember his lines.

While bringing Ed Sheeran to the stage, Kapil frantically searches for his chits, as shown in the video. Kapil jokingly said, "English bolke body mein garmi badi aati hai (You feel hot when speaking English).”

Throughout the conversation, Kapil gained self-assurance when speaking English. He told Ed, “If two-three more times you will come here, I will clear my 10th exam in English.”

Ed Sheeran Reveals Name of His Guitars

The musician was questioned by Archana Puran Singh about the name of his first guitar. He responded, "They were named like Felix and Sirel and Nigel, and it was more because, like, when something has a name, you take care of it more."

At the same time, presenter Kapil Sharma wanted to know his guitar collection. Ed Sheeran has said that he has many. Additionally, Ed Sheeran said that he believes guitars are the cause of all his happiness.
