After much anticipation, fans wasted no time taking to social media to express their opinions on the film, which has been met with both positive and negative reviews.

'Test' Negative Reviews

There were some fans who were disappointed with the plot of the film. "#Test is totally OUT OF FORM in terms of entertainment and engagement," one viewer tweeted after watching the film.

One person also said, "It's really funny that a country obsessed with cricket can't make a half-decent movie about it," while another one said, "No matter how good the actors are, they can’t save a movie that doesn’t have a soul. #TESTOnNetflix is just that."

Atrocious nonsense of a movie. 1st half is solid, engaging drama surrounding 3 characters. Abrupt tonal shift from pre-interval, erratic character behaviours & screenplay ruin the film. It's not at all convincing. Siddharth, Nayan & Maddy are all terrific.

The Plot

The film 'Test' primarily focuses on three characters: Arjun, a Test cricketer; Saravanan, a scientist; and his wife, Kumudha. Each of them is navigating a tumultuous journey, and their lives take a dramatic turn when their worlds unravel in different ways.

 

Under YNOT Studios, S. Sashikanth is the director, Suman Kumar is co-writer, and Chakravarthy Ramachandra is producer. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
